Student Open Day

Brick Court Chambers Student Open Day
Thursday 19 September 2024

Following the success of our previous Open Days, we are again offering university students the opportunity to learn more about Brick Court Chambers as well as a real insight into life at the Bar.

The Open Day is likely to involve:

Presentations from members of chambers about practice at the Bar;
Presentations from members of chambers about pupillage and applications;
Opportunities to ask questions on an informal basis.

This Open Day will not constitute a mini-pupillage, but we hope that it may give you a good introduction to Brick Court Chambers and to the Bar more generally. In particular, we have in mind that it may not always be easy for students to obtain information about practising as a barrister, and that visiting a law fair can only ever provide a general introduction.

Social Mobility Podcast Series

As part of the celebration of Brick Court’s centenary in 2021, we partnered with the Sutton Trust and IntoUniversity, two charities committed to improving the representation of under-represented groups in both higher education and in the workplace. As part of that partnership with the Sutton Trust and IntoUniversity, we also produced our SOCIAL MOBILITY PODCAST SERIES, a series of podcasts aimed at aspiring lawyers from all backgrounds.
