Mads Andenas appointed to ICSID panel of arbitrators

Mads Andenas has been appointed to the panel of arbitrators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). The ICSID secretariat is based in the World Bank in Washington.

Professor Andenas has been designated to serve on the Panel of Arbitrators maintained by the Centre pursuant to Article 13(1) of the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States. The designation is for a period of six years extending through February 16, 2022.

He holds Chair of Law at the University of Oslo. He remains a Visiting Research Fellow of the Institute of European and Comparative Law, University of Oxford and the Director of the Centre for Corporate and Financial Law at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London. He is a member of the Executive Council of the International Law Association.
