Harry Matovu QC, the founder of the Charter for Black Talent in Finance and the Professions, has been recognised for his work at the UK Diversity Legal Awards 2021. The Charter was the winner of the award for Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year (Chambers). The award, presented by the Chair of the Bar, recognises “initiatives that has made a tangible difference in creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace with the intention of highlighting best practice for the legal profession”. Harry was also shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year (Chambers).
This recognition is well deserved, and chambers is proud to support the Charter for Black Talent as part of its active commitment across a range of initiatives to promote equality and diversity at the Bar and within chambers itself.
