Harry Matovu KC appointed to Bank of England Enforcement Decision Making Committee

Harry Matovu KC has been appointed as a member of the Enforcement Decision Making Committee (EDMC) of the Bank of England following an external recruitment process and consultation. 

The EDMC is the Bank’s decision-making body for contested enforcement cases in the statutory regimes the Bank operates in relation to Prudential Regulation, Financial Market Infrastructures, Resolution and Notes issuance.  Harry Matovu has been appointed with Dame Clare Moulder DBE, a former Judge of the Commercial Court, and Pauline Wallace, Chair of the UK Endorsement Board.  The appointment is for a five-year term.
