Colin West appointed Chair of the London Common Law and Commercial Bar Association

Colin West of Brick Court Chambers was appointed Chair of the London Common Law and Commercial Bar Association (LCLCBA) for a two-year period at the Association’s AGM last night.

The LCLCBA is one of the largest Specialist Bar Associations (SBAs), with a membership of around 1,500 barristers. It was founded in 1965 and is one of the SBAs entitled to ex officio representation on the Bar Council.

Brick Court Chambers is one of the Association’s block membership sets. Colin has sat on the Committee of the LCLCBA as Brick Court’s representative since 2006 and was formerly the Association’s consultations secretary and Webmaster.
