A round-table discussion during the ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting, led by Sarah Abram KC, about how London’s courts are addressing global antitrust issues .

In an increasingly international antitrust enforcement and litigation landscape, many multinational claimants are litigating substantial parts of their global antitrust claims in the London courts. Similarly, many multinational defendants facing global antitrust scrutiny are met with claims in the London courts.

We will:

Discuss the global scope of the UK collective action regime from the perspectives of class members and defendants
Consider the impact that Digital Markets regulation will have on global businesses
Consider what current themes in UK competition litigation tell us about the approach of the English courts in future cases
Explore the limits on regulators’ extra-territorial jurisdiction
