Laura Newton appointed to Sports Resolutions’ panel of counsel

We are pleased to share that Brick Court’s Laura Newton has been appointed to Sport Resolutions’ panel of pro bono counsel.

Sport Resolutions is the UK’s main independent sport dispute resolution service.  It oversees sports disputes, including arbitration, and regulatory proceedings for several of the sports governing bodies and institutions.

Laura’s sports law experience includes acting for the owner of the former London Olympic Stadium in relation to its dispute with West Ham United regarding use of the stadium for football matches, proceedings regarding charges brought by the FA, and appearing in High Court proceedings regarding the insolvencies of a number of high-profile football clubs.
